C-SPAN Universal Redesign
As the lead designer on this network-wide initiative, I developed a streamlined suite of on-air graphic templates to unify C-SPAN’s visual identity across all three of its television channels and related social media platforms. The goal was to replace a patchwork of legacy models with a single, cohesive design system that would improve operational efficiency while strengthening brand recognition.
Working primarily in Photoshop, I collaborated closely with creative, editorial, and production teams to ensure the graphics met a wide range of practical needs—from live news cut-ins to branded promos—while maintaining a consistent look and feel. I also had the opportunity to work alongside a former CNN design lead, whose feedback pushed me to think more critically about adaptability, clarity, and real-time functionality within live broadcast environments.

This project was an invaluable experience in cross-departmental collaboration and large-scale design implementation. I gained a much deeper appreciation for the level of detail required to execute a visual overhaul of this scale, especially in a fast-paced, high-stakes news environment. The final system was rolled out company-wide and has since received highly positive feedback internally.
